Animation
For this project, I worked with an agency that needed a promotional video to showcase their website and new look. The brief called for animation using simple shapes and physics shown in an engaging way.
Basic storyboards were provided, however, nothing about animation. Using the physics engine of Newton 3 inside of After Effects, I created animations that incorporated kinetic typography with collisions and gravity.
One major challenge was navigating through the statistics. The animations had to be fun and engaging, yet cohesive and unique. Navigating a tight deadline, it's easy for many animations to become repetitive. The complex animations had to be created quickly with little review time.
The animation was well-received by the client and is front and center on their homepage.
